During that era, bread was often shaped like sticks to appeal to children, while adults enjoyed dipping it into coffee, tea, Milo, or Ovaltine during breakfast or tea time.
After extensive research to trace the recipe's origins, Malaya Bread Factory is delighted to reintroduce the legendary taste of ''Roti Kok,'' evoking cherished memories of childhood for many.
所謂名聞遐邇的美味餅乾『Roti Kok』，當初在一九六○年代深受人們喜愛。其名『東卡』乃源自馬來詞語，譯為『棍棒』。於那個年代，麵包多以棍狀呈現，以迎合兒童口味，而成年人則愛將之沾入咖啡、茶、美祿或歐洲力充實早餐或下午茶時間。
